This year, more than 20,000 drawings from children and youth aged between 7 and 15 years and coming from more than 50 countries have been received. Boys and girls who are committed to an intact environment and who put their vision on paper as amazing artists; boys and girls who have performed an impressive piece of workmanship of 10 man-years an exemplary commitment to our natural environment. The result of this drawing contest is a unanimous global message for the environmentally friendly development ! This makes all participants to winners.

It is for the 8th time in a row that this drawing contest can take place with great success. It includes a clear environmental message which can easily be understood across languages and cultural borders worldwide. The message is built by those who form our coming generation - this is the remarkable value of the work.

Finally, I would like to pay a sincere compliment to all those who did a great deal to help realizing this contest: Children, youth, teachers and all the schools from those different countries and cultures; they were very active. Together, they have shaped the global environmental message “man and nature in harmony” and have put it down. They fascinate other people and foster a global dialogue on the road to a better environment.
